My experience with bikes is limited to working on my friends two stroke 125 and 250cc GP bikes. Are there any R1/GSXR motors that were carb'd but still gave good power? I don't really want to screw around with fuel injection. Mind you I've got a MegaSquirted Miata, so I'm not a FI-phobe, I just haven't had a carb'd car in awhile and miss them. I'm looking for a motor with somewhere around 150hp hopefully.........

Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the others, but the R1 was carbed until 2002. I think those motors were rated at about 150hp or so.

EDIT: I meant to type 2002...must have been time for bed...sorry for the typo.
