Hey Guys,
I wanted to share an idea that I used on my car. I wanted an engine mount with some vibration damping but didn't want to cast my own or use a typical horseshoe style mount. I ended up going to the O'Rielly parts store, where they can look up a lot of parts by dimensions which is very handy. Once in there I was able to find a control arm bushing that had a suitable OD to fit into a short length of tubing, I did end up having to cut a slit in the tube and making an aluminum spacer to fit the bolt. But with a some more digging I would think you can find something that would fit perfectly. Anyway once it was all finished it made running tubes up to the engine mounts a breeze, and should be pretty darn strong.

The bushings were ~$6/pc

Slick! And give us a part number on those bushings, in case some locosters want to do theirs (ours?) exactly as you did yours.
