hello from austria ( not australia  )

there are a few things for a man to do before he dies........build a home, plant a tree & build one or two or so CARS

so 1+2 are done....now iàm planning to build one or two.....cars !!!

first one sits in garage and waits for a running gear.....Mercedes w198 Gullwing ( donor will be slk320 / amg )

second one should be a two seater trackday car......with appearance of a MATRA650 !!!
...plans for bodywork are in the making, i attach some pics of what it should look like.

NOW the questions:

1. it will use maybe Hayabusa/Kawa ZX12-14/ R1 ect engine >>> would it be possible to mount an drive shaft directly to the engine according to the principle of BMW´s KARDAN_Diff, when its reconstructed ??? :BH:
....what would be the best solution....simple chaindrive i guess

thanks

There are a handful of adapters out there that replace the sprocket with a driveshaft-attachable 3 or 4 point mount, but if it's already rear-engined, then a chain drive to a diff is a simple, light and reliable solution.
