I used a 96+ RX7 diff. Torsen LSD as this was easier to make a cover to keep the grease in. I made the cover out of fibreglass. I made this very roughly then machined it to size on the lathe. Converting it to chain drive was fairly easy.

3 mounts per fender - VERY GOOD! I think they will be a lot more stable.

Quick question, where did you get your fenders/wings? Or did you make them yourself?

I had the guards rolled out of 1.2mm alloy in CHCH. I made the mounts with a flat plate weled to them where the mounts touch the rolled alloy. Once both parts were powder coated I then sanded the paint off the mating surfaces and glued them together using aa automotive structural glue. No visible rivits or bolts. :D
