The car looks very nice, looks fast standing still. Could you tell me tell me the color / brand of paint on the frame?

The color is "Caprithane" 30% gloss. The closest to the KTM motor bike color I could find. Not to sure of the brand tho.
I didn't want a gloss because of all the tubes and my lack of painting skills.

Very nice build! I am curious how you fastened the body panels in between the diagonal tubes? Did you weld tabs to the frame to bolt/rivet to? Did you leave a gap around the body panels between the tubes?

Hopefully one day I will get to this point in my build and am curious how you did it, and I might just copy your methods :)

I welded in small gussets in between the tubes and then bolted the body panels on. I used a thin rubber washer between the panels and the gusset and also I have left roughly about a 1mm gap around the panels so as to not wear the paint away.
All the panels will be painted an ice white color.

I just came across your build and it looks awesome. I am currently recovering from a motorcycle on car accident (not my fault), and have decided that my next project is going to have 4 wheels instead of 2. I am in love with these Exo style cars and I am trying to get a list of all the parts I am going to need. My question for you is what year RX-7 rear diff did you use for your car? Was it a hard to do the conversion? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff

Paigeo, your build is awesome. I am currently recovering from a motorcycle on car accident (not my fault) and have decide that my next project is going to have 4 wheels not 2. I saw the Ar-i-el At-om on Top Gear and fell in love. Since the accident I have been looking for something that will give me the open air feel of a motorcycle with a little more safety. I love the Exo style cars like yours and that is what I am going to build. I am curious what year did the Rx-7 rear diff come from? Was converting it to chain drive difficult? I have seen some I can buy but I really don't want to spend 800-1300 for one. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Jeff
