Yup, use them all the time, far easier than a wrist operation.

I've never used one like that. I used the pneumatic one and a rt angle hand riveter. I'd recommend getting the rt angle hand one too. There are a lot of places that the space is just not there for the long handles. Might even consider the swivel hand riveter. What's a few more bucks?

I agree with Chuck's comments as well.
I my case I used an air riveter that worked really well, but there are spots where you cant get into very easily, so a small hand riveter is also a must.
As well there are tight spots where it is difficult to get in with even a drill, a small angle die grinder with a 1/16 inch drill bit cut down or other wise to fit the collet will help drill the hole, make sure to size the rivet accordingly.

For 22 bucks, your damn right it is worth a darn. Did you read the reviews? No tool is usable on 100% of the jobs you may encounter.

Nice tool that has its purpose but it takes 2 hands to operate. Great for larger rivets. I used a Harbor Freight pneumatic and an old Craftsman right angle riveter for my build. 2500+ rivets and adhesive in 3 days.

So, your experience with the HF pneumatic was good? Some seem to have great experience and others do not. I'll be needing to buy something in the future and the HF unit is very reasonably priced.

Really? I don't believe that I have seen a single complaint. OK now I have read the HF site. Some had problems. Reviews are generally biased to the negative. If you got screwed you complain. If things work out as expected, you are quiet. maybe they got a bad one. It happens. Ididn;t read where any of the complainers returned it for exchange and still didn't work. Actually, I hadn't read anything negative myself, primarily just the opposite. However, one of our builders here didn't have a good experience (I though it was Garland, but found nothing obvious in his build log, so must have been someone else) and someone echoed his experience in a reply. I had planned to buy one myself when needed. I was just checking for results on a big job.

Mine works well but I think I had to do a little fine tuning re adjusting the jaws inside the head piece.
