I'm looking for a Louver tool. I prefer one that could be used on a press, and that has a bolt and threaded end to use with an impact gun. For cases when the part is too big to fit in between any type of press or vice.

Anyone here have one and can recommend one?

Here are some ideas:

Louver press ==> http://lowbucktools.com/products/lowbuck-louver-press

There are a number of home-made louver tools, including hand methods, shown on YouTube. Do a search there and see if any are useful to you.

In the 2nd Edition of Ron Champion's book (page 111) he shows a louver tools made from wood and examples of its work on a Locost hood. It's super simple, but totally low cost.

Cheers,

Damn! That front slip angle is way too large and the Ackerman is just a muddle.
