I have a 5HP compressor in the garage with a 50 ft retractable reel with 3/8 inch air hose. This is not the one I'm asking about.

A also have a small HF pancake compressor that I use with a brad nailer and stapler in the house. After maybe 15 yrs of use, the light duty air-hose has given up the ghost. I am looking for its replacement. The one I had was cotton braided and was very flexible. I loved it up until it started to leak from abuse. I can't seem to find one just like it. Isn't it funny how we get accustomed to a particular tool and can't find a suitable replacement? I have tried the spiral hoses and do not like them at all.

Requirements: It must be 1/4" hose and between 15 and 25 ft long with 1/4 fittings on the ends. it must be flexible and not retain the curl from storage. It certainly cannot leave skid marks on tile or hardwood floors. Leaving black marks in the carpet would be grounds for divorce.

I've looked on Amazon eBay and Menards websites and cannot seem find one just like it. It appears that I need some other style. Anyone have a recommendation?

This is the hose I bought for my little Portercable pancake. It stays very flexible in the cold. 5 yrs and still going well.

I have not known it to mar the floors. It doesn't flake like rubber does.
