Just bought the harbor Freight tubing roller and the SWAG offered upgrades. I used this at PROSHAPER and it worked awesome. I need to bend some 3/4 tubing for the body inner support structure on my Kurtis. The roller is only about $150, but i added $470 of upgrades. I bought the "wings" to widen it, 1" and 3/4"mandrels with the upgraded (keyed) driveshaft. I made the stand out of some scrap i had. I rarely buy "cheap" tools, but with the upgrades, this is 1st rate!

Looks good! I was lucky enough to use a bare bones model to do a couple bends for my frame. I'd never used one before and found patience is key to getting good results. Like anything else I suppose.

A good tool indeed. I bent quite a bit of square and round tubes with this. To get good results take a bit of patience. I found that the tubes tend to roll out of the machine's alignment, i.e they come out bent on one plane but no longer straight on the other. One way to prevent that is to reduce the lateral play of the three mandrels, and-or engineer an additional tube guiding device. But like I said for the money we are lucky we can get these tools.
