My trailer is a little worse for ware. I lent it to a friend to move some stuff and it was returned with a couple of cracked welds. Looking at the welds they do not look very good and there is a lot of rust in the welds so I don't think it was totally the movers fault. But anyway it needs repairing so it always an opportunity to make it better. I have always worried that carrying a car puts the weight in all 4 corners putting a large bending force on the trailer bed. I have draw a little stick figure trailer, can someone recommend the simplest bracing I can add to improve strength. The mainframe rails are box section, so are the uprights, but the top rail is 90 degree angle stock.

Thanks

Graham

Graham,
I would go from the center high to the lower left and lower right. My bracing is 1" sq x 0.065, and plenty strong, as it is in tension.
