That probably depends on how you define 'restoration' vs 'modernization', and how much one is worth restored vs modernized. Regardless, I'd be sorely tempted to try.

after more than a little bit of searching im told, (i couldn't actually find them for sale) they go for ~600 GBP for the plastic replacement so yeah not lowcost at all

I would say that car is a bargain and worth the effort, so many have been butchered :oops: that originals are starting to go for big money.

The pics and 4 cylinder description make for lots of questions but the price is a deal. You will have to like fiber glass though. :ack:

I work in a marina on a lake here in the midwest so im no stranger to glass, It seems neat. I think ill go and look at it a day or 2 of looking there is actually a tvr club not 4 miles from my house
