Any thoughts about rack and pinion center steer?

To minimize bumpsteer, consider bell crank steering, where one leg attaches to the tie rod fwd of the steering shaft and the other attaches behind it. If the toe links need to be shorter than this type of steering would allow, to match the arc of the toe attachment on the spindle, look for a center tapped center pinion rack. The ends bolt down to the chassis and the middle slides back and forth.
:D Thank You, I ordered bellcranks from a Yamaha R1, eBay

A bell crank is just an arm on a rotating shaft.

No problem. The fewer the words, the more difficult it is to read skill sets.

Fixtures are welded and installed for fit, need to trim a little more for the 18 degree uprights, then the lower rails control arms , and then the swing arm mounting brackets...Add fixture- these will keep the rails straight and offset for the control arms designed in...

Scored at the motorcycle swap meet today, new swing arm is about 2" wider than the first one giving me more room for chain and disc brake, not to mention a fatter tire and taller...

The rear rim hub was to wide and causing problems, and just so happen to have another at the local Harley shop, for cheap I got this, Now mock up the chain and change the tire, 250-40-18, maybe? NOT!!! 215-35-18 enough for chain adjust...

OK, This is the route I am going with the tire as wide as the rim, this will give me more room for the chain with button head bolts...
