Hi All!

If you are looking for a affordable way to acquire sensor data, then RaceDAC might be a good solution for you.
The site http://www.racedac.com gives you all the information you need, but here is a "short" list what RaceDAC is, and what it does:

- 8 analog inputs (0-5/0-15V, sample rate up to 100Hz) for: Throttle position, temperature, brake pressure, etc
- 2 digital inputs (0-5/0-15V, range up to 3 000 000 RPM or 60 000 Hz) for: RPM, wheel speed, etc
- 5V (100mA) output for external sensors: For example suspension sensors
- Main power 12V (100mA)
- Size 91mm x 66mm x 28mm

- RaceChrono http://www.racechrono.com compatible*
- Standard BlueTooth connectivity, compatible with any standard mobilephone/PC/laptop/etc
- Standard serial protocol profile, compatible with any standard terminal software, or com port logging software
- Always when RaceDAC is on, it feeds the data automatically to the COM-port/ receiving device, so you can make also your own sw to log/display/analyse the data

- SW configuration via BT-connection
- SW update via BT-connection
- Source code accessible for RaceDAC owners, fully modifiable, so you can make also your own sw and flash it to your RaceDAC
- SW flashing via BT-connection, or with Microchip's PICkit3

*This is the Easy way!
RaceDAC + Mobile phone + RaceChrono + 10Hz GPS receiver
You can log all the data, and then view the graphs with RaceChrono
Or copy the data, and then view the graphs with RaceChrono on a PC or Laptop
Or export the data in CSV format, and then view the data with any compatible software; notepad, spreadsheet application, etc
Or export the data in VBO format, and then view the data with any compatible software; Performance Tools, Circuit Tools, etc.

As you see, the choice is really yours!
