Who has a good selection with good prices for A-Arm Clevises and the bits like that?

McMaster wants gold for theirs if they even have the size & thread you want...

Midwest Control has jerked me around so badly I'll probably never spend another dollar there...

Who gives the best value for our dollar?? Someone out there worth patronizing? :?

KS

Edited title, also moving to supplier section, will keep shadow topic.

Same thing that I tell everbody, seek out a oval track supplier and work what they have into your designs.

Hardware: Aircraft Spruce, Wick's Aircraft.
Everything: Summit, Pegasus, Jeg's, Performance Bodies.
Industrial supplies: Grainger, McMaster
Small metal: Metal Supermarket
Locost-specific stuff: Kinetic!
Metalworking and shop equipment: MSC, Enco (MSC but cheaper), Little Machine Shop

For the basic 1/2" rod ends and a clevis, you'll work hard to beat Jack's (Kinetic) price and service. His parts are from Rod End Supply. For the weld bungs etc, well, keep looking, there are no real standouts. Midwest is a standout for price but for stock availability, communication and service, they are a lacking big time. IMHO

For misc brackets, try aa-mfg.com

QScomponents used to have some good deals and good service, been a while since I dealt with them though. There is a link to them in the supplier's section.

Yo Botbasher-
Check out these two:

www.lefthanderchassis.com The website has a searchable .pdf of the catalog, but you have to call them to order. They got some good stuff, including suspension-building hardware. I wound up using their 001-811-1 and 001-811-2 ball joint rings in my upper A-arms (They're on pg 41).

www.daymotorsports.com Good website, good catalog. I've bought some random brackets, etc from them. Their customer service guys are good too, talked to them about the coil-over kits I'm considering.

Peace, Love and Pushrods-
JD Kemp

For rod ends / heim joints this is who I use. Best price I have found. They are called fast fastener and they are at fastspec@earthlink.net

Coleman racing supplied mine, and UB machine has some nice ones as well, but judging from what I've seen on this site, they may be a little too heavy duty for the size of projects I've seen here. I know they've got 3/4" clevises, but I believe they have 5/8" as well.
