Sorry, but I had a friend ask me that and all I could say was, "I don't think so..." He is interested in the Caterham 160. For those unfamiliar it's this:
http://jalopnik.com/the-caterham-160-is ... 1449928423

Sorry for such a noob question, but I'm pretty busy lately and I figured that someone here would know.

Thanks!

Seems to me there was a Caterham dealer in Colorado, in the Denver area. Let me check.

Here it is; http://www.uscaterham.com/about/welcome.html

Found two others closer to you.
http://www.midatlanticcaterham.com is in Wilmington, De.

http://www.gt-classics.com/ is in Barboursville, VA, but their site gives almost no info except for contact.

Sure you can. The dealer up here in Mass even has a small showroom, I 've heard.

Thanks guys!

Just been laying low. Not much excitement in my world. I did buy a FR-S and a boat this summer but I do miss my Locost.

Hey Chet!
I have nothing "on-topic" to add, I just wanted to say Howdy!
Hope you and yours are doing well!

And I have a good friend that has a Lietch. Many of you have seen his posts here and perhaps his website, Earley Motor Sports.com. Graham has a really nice car. I did some correspondence
with a fellow with a Fraser. He was quite pleased with his car.

I did look into Fraser's (sorry about the earlier misspelling). Another nice looking kit. I was looking into the rear fenders and nose cone of both the Leitch and the Fraser. Don't think Barry Lietch is into shipping pieces to USA but I think Fraser would. Expensive but the rear fenders of both the NZ cars are pretty cool with a nice lip.

Sure, unfortunately Oz and NZ car manufacturers have a rather distorted view of what their wares are actually worth.

Mind you a used Caterham like this at $60,000USD isn't my cup of tea either as pretty as it is ...

I think there is a Caterham dealer in Dallas too. I have pics on my website www. Texaslocost.com ,of one purchased in Denver. IT was at the Aurora British car show. I was lined up next to him. IT was a new ultra lite version with a ford duratech. Something like 1200 lbs. He said he paid $80,000 for the kit and it took all summer to put it together. The instructions are [PooPoo] according to the owner. I kind of laughter at the price since I have about $13,000 in my finished build. I went on a 7 drive with some guys in Colorado before we moved back to Houston and one guy told me he thought he got a good deal on his used Caterham for just $50,000.
another quick story, I had my Locost at a little cars and coffee thing here in Houston. there happened to be another LOcost there too. I heard the owner of the other and and a guy talking as they came up behind mine. "That must be one of those expensive kits like a Westfield or something" he was saying about mine. I was way flattered. he was shocked when I said mine was a Locost too. His fit and finish wasn't nearly as good. But the car looking good was really important to me.

It's possible that for the people who spend $80,000 for one of those, building cars is not their best talent... We have at least several people on this forum who could market a nice kit if they got paid that much...
