Have the bones of a Laballa frame/kit - need info...

The front a-arms have RH 5/8-16 weld in inserts & the front suspension pod (subframe) is already set up w 3/8" holes in the brackets. Not finding much in the way of 3/8" by 5/8-16 Heim or rod ends - I'm thinking maybe to drill out brackets for 1/2" instead. Any body want to weigh in? Brackets are about 1-1/2" ID so maybe rod end w rubber bushing instead? I'll post pics if anyone wants a visual. Going to start to mock up chassis to put under a classic mini body. Have an MR2 donor out there. Accomplices want to do FWD Honda or RWD 6spd DuraWhatever in the Mini body. I plan on at least getting the Laballa frame rolling so someone will make a decision & trade me something I can use

Is there enough room between the brackets to put high misalignment spacers in with the rod ends? There are high misalignment spacers available to bring both 1/2 and 5/8 ball bores down to 3/8.

^^^^^^^^^^^ This ^^^^^^^^^^

I have on more than a few occasions used sleeves or stepped spacers to enable the use of larger bearing rod ends with smaller hardware.
