Does anyone know how much different the Coveland7 Miata Frame is different from a "book frame" or a 442 (McSorley 7+442) frame?

Inotherwords how much bigger is a Coveland7 Miata Frame than a "book" frame?

The coveland 7 frame is the same as the book chassis externally. I'm pretty sure of this as the body panels they sell also state that they can be used on any book chassis based locost.

The McSorley 442 is the biggest chassis design out there that is already mostly engineered.

Already mostly engineered, what do you mean?

I think he mean that it was already designed and built by a number of people, so it's a "tested" or "proven" design compared to frames which are heavily modified to fit a certain need.

That doesn't mean that there won't be speedbumps along the way with any of the pre-built frames on the market though. I think just about everybody expects to have to get a little creative at some point.
