John, I can tell you what does not work!
Your typical auto seal that has a "U" with a sealing rubber lip or hollow section on the side did not work on my doors. My door frame is made from 5/8" x 1/8' thk flat stock. It was not strong enough to seal without bowing the frame even with a bottom elastic attachment to help close the bottom of the door. You would probably need several clips along the bottom edge of the door to have any chance of sealing.
