Well, I guess I stand corrected. Thanks Bill. I had no idea. Polyurethane, you say? Hooda Thunk?

Russ, glad you found a solution albeit a costly one. But they should be nice when you get them back. It seems like you are always rushing to get something done before the Gathering.

They are actually grey and red. Took old 914 seats and cut 2 1/4" out of the center to fit my 16 1/2" space. Russ

Yeah, I'd say those are pretty darn fancy. Too bad you have to sit on them and get 'em all wrinkly. :mrgreen:

Cheers,

Hello. Just to advise that I have a brand new set of Caterham seat squabs (2 of) and the rectangular seat back for sale if you are interested? The dimensions are posted on this site in 'parts for sale' by another poster, but if you require them again I can send them to you. The black heavy duty vinyl seat units and seat back are still in their plastic wrap from Caterham. The reason for sale is that the seat back does not fit my particular car as I now have an integrated roll bar permanently welded into the chassis, and it requires the seat back to be 2" narrower from a standard Lotus/Caterham/Westfield/Locost. I am asking $550.00 U.S. for the set, plus shipping. A previous poster advised that a set from Caterham (or Redline U.K. if you can get them still?) would cost £500 - £600 U.K. pounds ($700.00 to 840.00 U.S. dollars from the U.K. at exchange rates posted today) plus even more expensive shipping. Thanks, EW

@EdWills

You might want to post on your own with your own pictures and dimensions. People won't necessarily find the previous post by another user.

Cheers,

Took the old Porsche 914 seats in to the upholsterer today. $600 for the pair and they will not be ready until just before the Gathering. Can't do it myself. No skill and no time. This Locost is becoming HIGHCOST!!!!!!! Steve, I will have a lot of 2" black webbing left over from my new seat belts. Do you want them? Also have red from my old belts if you want that. Russ

Sure that will come in handy for the suspension. Much appreciated!
