What do you all use to keep your feet on the floor pedals. Mine are particularly nasty when wet. I have tried self adhesive strips, painted and sprinkled with fine sand while still wet, etc. I don't think I have the room for those cheap China import POS's. I have thought about drilling and tapping them to put some sort of studs in there but they are way under the scuttle and not a lot of room in there. Tks Russ

Russ, I have glued a piece of coarse sandpaper cut from a belt sander. I glued them to the brake and the clutch. I keep the loud pedal bare metal. I find more control with it bare.

I bought some Ryder truck mud flaps that have bumps all over. They are thick and rigid commercial truck flaps.
I countersink for four pop rivets. They are hard durometer and very long wearing. Much better than oem soft rubber covers.

Like Chuck (sort of), I used a piece of Safety Step. It is about a 60 grit, adhesive backed cloth that comes in a roll. The adhesive is one of the 3M jobbers that ain't ever comin off so make sure you line it up right the first time. I also put a piece on the cross brace that my feet hit first when getting in and last when getting out. Sure saves me from doing the spastic ballerina dance when getting out.

Yup, used about 60 grit and I "glued" it on with some 3M VHB pressure sensitive adhesive. All said and done, probably very similar to your safety step; That is what my kids called "gription tape"

I was going to say skate board gription tape or safety step as listed above.

You could even cut some nice designs or text in it too, like Stop, Go, most people don't know what this peddle is for.

They seem to do it no mater what shoes I have on. I have tried the grip tape before but it only lasts about one day. I am out of VHB tape so I will have to find some. VHB tape did a fantastic job on my trailer. Russ

Weld cross hatched beads on the pedals. Use flux core wire to make the beads "spikier", if spike-i-er is a word. We refurbish the cross hatch on loading docks jn our buildings this way and it works great.

Here is a pic to what I was describing and a link to the material, which can be useful for other things and is very cheap for what you get:

Try adding a heel rest to the floor.
There a picture in the photo section of my heel rest .
Look for "road to hell" in the media section.
Fab'ing a rest, is well worth the effort. Dave W

Russ, If you need VHB tape, PM me to let me know I will take some the Gathering for you. I may even find some sandpaper too.

You can build the most awesome thing in the world but at some point, an 80yr old man in a crx is probably going kick your butt on the track... don't ask me how I know.
