We did wrap-around windshield on our
race car MG Midget which was about as wide
as Lotus 15 .
By using polycarbonate (makrolon)
plastic (made by Bayer, the aspirin people)
It is much easier to work with than with
plexiglass, it is unbreakable and the same as
Lexan ,which is polycarbonate too.
Makrolon or Lexan bends easily over a simple
wooden template and by poring boiling water
over it, it doesl retain desired shape.
This is what we did, but if the windshield
has three dimensional shape and needs shrinking,
then my suggestion is good for nothing..
