I have seen what they call tadpole gasket used between the standard fender and the chassis where there is a 90 deg angle between the parts. What I am looking for is a a rubber seal to be used between the chassis and my rear fenders which are in the same plane as the chassis, as they form a continuous smooth line. I dont know if there is a "T" shaped gasket that would fit tight over the two pieces but i don`t want them to stick up too much as I want it smooth. Also the part transforms from in plane to maybe a 15 deg up angle at the tops of my fenders.
Any Ideas.

There's a company named Dawn Enterprises that I have done business with many times. On top of having a multitude of trim and weatherstripping available off the shelf, they're very helpful.

Just a tip: Don't go cheap on this stuff. Especially if you need to glue it. The cheap stuff is either vinyl, or a really crappy rubber. It's hard to work with, and impossible to get glued down.

It's called "fender welting" around here, and most use "tadpole trim" or "P-welting". If you want U shaped stuff to go over edges, Aircraft Spruce has a good selection of soft rubber.

The street rod guys use a lot of fender welting. Speedway carries it, among others.

I bought the black fender welting from Speedway. It looks really good.

IMO The welting looks good, and might not look as good if it were flat. The T-section welting wouldn't work well where the fender is normal to the body, i.e. just about everywhere.

I like the welting. Mine would look pretty bad without it. The trim cut was kind of rough and the welt hides it.

I bought the welting from a VW specialty shop.

A little marine vinyl, some cording, and a few minutes on the sewing machine. Violla! Color matched welting.

But let's not forget Dale, the OP, was looking for something to dress up 2 co-planar surfaces not perpendicular ones.

The standard tadpole welting would work well for the front fenders and the first half of the rears but there is a 2 foot section that is co-planar/co-planer.
