Could I get one of those extras? Stainless with studs, shipped to Canada please.

This will make a great start on construction. You start at the front and work your way back, right?

I shouldn't be on your naughty list as I sent a check over a week ago. If you haven't gotten it I need to stop payment on that one and send another.

It's probably sitting at the PO waiting. Haven't been stopping by the box as often as I used to.

Not to worry. Just making sure I knew where everyone was. I'll be stopping by on Fri. Lets see if it isn't there by then.

If it wasn't for my old rental home, I wouldn't know how to write a Check.

Being a lender I understand that electronic receipts do not have to be accepted by a judge so I write checks for everything. The law specifically recognizes checks.

GM has a nasty habit of double billing the last payment on their car loans and if you don't have a cancelled check you have to pay again to get your lien released. We see this over & over again on people's credit reports. So the moral to that story is 1) don't use GM & 2) use checks.

Daughter popped across the border yesterday and picked up my insert.
Awesome, it arrived safely.
Attached a photo of what it looks like in a Haynes nose cone opening, though I will have to either paint the insert or use a shadow black on the portions of my grill that pass inside the logo.
Either way fun ahead. :D
Also found a nice spot for my number 7 that will use two sided tape to attach after I polish it.
Once again Ken thanks a whole bunch for what you did.

Your grill looks amazing, Raceral! How'd you make it?

It looks like a BBQ grate cut down. That's what I did for some grills I was making a couple of years ago.

Close, not a BBQ grate, but a shelf from an old fridge. :)

Okay - now I'm off to go old-fridge-hunting!

It wasn't difficult as I kept it all simple.
I cut the fridge shelf slight over size to the nose cone opening using a bolt cutter.
Then I took some U shaped black door guard trim and slipped it all around the rough edge on my nose cone opening.
This gives a finished look from the front and allows the fridge shelf to sit against plastic instead of the fiberglass nose.
Then I installed a few stainless bolts evenly through the fiberglass nose around the perimeter.
The heads sit in the opening to give a finished look and the threaded portion is inside out of sight.
The I attached the grill/shelf to the back using zap straps, zapping them down tight between the grill/door guard and the threaded portion of the bolts.
If I want to remove the grill I just cut the straps, I use new ones to replace it.
I also didn't use dollar store plastic zap straps, use the stronger commercial ones.
I added a few photos to try to show the idea a bit.

My grill is actually a cookie cooling rack. Russ
