Anyone have a 3d model of nose cone?
I am at the time that I have to make one. There was a guy in Montreal that said I could make a mold from his but I cannot get in touch with him. So I will make my own.

I need a 3d model though or some drawing with dimensions.

Thanks,

Bob

There is a model of a Caterham nose in SketchUp. Part of the Caterham frame model.

Scale to fit, use at own risk, batteries not included, etc, etc.

Hi Bob !
Measures, plans 3-d form, you don't need
all that to make glass cone, what you need
is what you already have. It's the shape of
your front bulkhead, so the cone fits particular frame. Making template out of
scrap wood and plaster is easy too.
As for fiberglass, you can make even your
own chastity belt. It's easy to work with.

cheers

Hi Bob again !
If I last for another fev months i will be
ninety (90) years old. So normally at this
age , one can kick the bucket anytime.
In order to reserve my place in paradise
I decided tg make a different nose cone on
my cars. (drawing below)

You are too young to kick the bucket
but old enough to make a nosecone with
fiberglass. Just look at some picks of Locosts.
