Along the lines of Ewhen's story, here's a story we heard Sunday from an Iwo Jima survivor. One from Mt. Suribachi.

Ewhen, I can only imagine what you went through in the camps. It certainly was a horrible time in history. I read several books in High School about them. I am fortunate that that was before my time. 2 years ago I had the opportunity to visit Dachou. It is unbelievable to me that man can do such things to others. It was a sobering experience for me, even after more than 65 years.

And, if you haven't heard it lately, Thank you for your service!

Thanks
Well, there were about many millions of
people from different countries of Europe
So on positive note I learned to speak few
more languages.

Here more important think to follow
When You use shrinker to form fenders
it is important to design a radius of desired
shape (ie.clearance between tire, length)
on a piece of cardboard (or other surface)
Shrink both sides of the bent, two three
times each and check if radius corresponds
to design. Overshrink is corrected with a tap
of a hammer in affected area.

Wish I could make explicit video of it
it's so darn easy, if I ordinary Ukrainian
peasant could do it, so everybody else
can do it too.

Please Chuch, send us a pic of hand-made
fenders

Cheers
ewhen

I'm a little late to the party

I bought some fenders from Caterham US in 2014 and it cost $100 ea plus shipping. But that was before Superformance took over US Caterham distribution. That said, Demon-Tweeks in the UK sells Cat parts, and CSR fenders are $100 ea, shipping is $70 for 2. $270 shipped for a pair of fenders is still steep, but it's a data point/option.
