I aquired this body like 10 years ago. Been hanging on my wall ever since. Im trying to find out what it is but im at a loss. Its deffinitly rear engine so maybe an aftermarket body for a lotus 19 or lotus 23. Not sure though. It has the name Bill Alsabrook on the side and was classed as a b sports racer. But has no scca stickers so not sure it even ever raced. Has anyone ever seen one of these?? Any info or ideas to chase would be greatly appreciated. I plan to build a chassis for it soon and if i know what it was on it may give me direction in building

From what I understand, B Sports was for 5L cars, so it might be from a V8 converted 19. But the shape of the nose suggests Lotus 30 or 40. I'd hedge my bets on a Lotus 30.

Nose definitely looks like a Lotus 30 or 40, but rear end doesn't look like anything I can match online? Wonder if someone made their own rear clam shell to address some issue w/ an old 30/40?

Never noticed that before. Definitly a lotus decal. Also heres a picture of the doors which look very much like lotus 23 doors. I dont know. Its very interesting. Hope to find some solid info on it before i build it
