In my opinion, the blue nipple marked "remove" in the photo (I'm not familiar with the toggled cap on that tank but I'm presuming it's a pressure release cap and it's where the water comes out when it expands) should have a hose to your overflow bear (or whatever you're using as a water catch tank) and the other port should be plumbed to whatever other spot on your cooling system might trap air. Not that you were asking me...it's just that I have opinions about everything.

I agree with your statement as well but I don't know if others do as well. The red lever allows for safe release of the pressure in the system so that quick cooling or maintenance can be done without burning yourself.

Saldana Racing confirmed that this is the correct way to plumb the expansion tank.
