Post subject:  Anyone have the Weaver Brothers pump rebuild pamphlet?

I have a 3 stage Weaver dry sump pump I'm going to be using on my build.
Got it off ebay, in good condition, but I would like to replace the seals and bearings while I can for peace of mind.

I tried contacting Weaver for a copy of the pamphlet, but haven't heard back.

Next idea is to contact one of the rebuilders and see if they will divulge the seal/bearing trade numbers so I can order them from the local bearing house.
The ones in the pump are unmarked, and I don't fully trust the "this measures the right size" method of part hunting on something that will be keeping well over one grand in engine on life support.

If anyone has a copy of the pamphlet kicking around, let me know.

Looks like the SCP site uses the trade numbers for part numbers when ordering, at least for bearings and the shaft seal.

S5K is the trade for the rear bearings (0.5" ID x 1.125" OD x 0.25" width)
S7K is the trade for the front bearings (0.625" ID x 1.375" OD x 0.281" width)

The front shaft seal is a 6373 trade (0.625" ID x 1.375" OD x 0.25" width, dual lip)

So now I know what to buy at the bearing house on Monday to push this along.

Still looking for the pamphlet though.

SCP makes their own pumps, but will also overhaul weavers. I would not assume the parts are the same.

As for contact, a phone call during working hours is usually much more effective than an email.

Even if they get the email and mail a book, you may not get a reply.

Agree on calling them; it's really the only way to make sure you're using the right parts.

I think if I reversed the digits in my age it would match what my memory has become these past few months...

Forgot all about this, will call them and confirm when I have some free time in normal business hours.
