My radiator is currently set up with the lower outlet on the RH side, and I have a RubeGoldbergian mess of rubber hoses snaking under the steering rack and past the crank pulley and ending up at the left side of the engine where the water comes out. I have been noodling on a better way for a while and it struck me tonight during a stare-session that it's a straight shot from the bottom left of the rad, under the rack to the water outlet on the engine. All I need to do is weld up the outlet on the RH and move it to the left. My question for the masses is this:

Can I have an 18" long, 1.25" OD 16guage-6061 lower radiator outlet?? 2 90* hoses will get me from the engine straight into the radiator in a very clean and simple way. But will "pinochios nose" be a crack prone nightmare?

Yes it will. Don't do it.

Bend a piece of aluminum tubing that follows the current hose routing. Use two small straight pieces of hose at each end to attach it so there is some give.

What Andrew said. A couple inches of rubber hose will give all the play you need.

BTW, never heard the term 'stare-session' before, but that's how I figure out most of my engineering problems.

I find that "Stare session with intermittent butt scratching" is the best for creative design work...
