I've searched old strings but I can't find it...

On my old computer I downloaded freeware based on a recommendation from someone on \locost\usa that allowed me to downsize photos by right-clicking on them and then following simple instructions. I now have a new computer, but not that freeware.

Can anyone help with a name, or better yet, a link?

I don't know the program that you are talking about but I use IrfanView to resize pictures.

I don't think it has an option on right click but once they are open it is pretty easy to resize or you can do batch processing of the photo's if you have a bunch that need the same settings.

Warren,

I don't know what OS you are using, but if you are using Windows there is a free tool you can use.

XP version

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/down ... rtoys.mspx

Download the imageresizer

If you have Vista or 7

http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-ti ... ws-7vista/

After installing it you can right click the photo and resize. It's pretty easy to use and has quite a few options.

If you don't use Windows, sorry I don't have a good free program to suggest.

Steve

Steve,

Thank you. I'm pretty sure that this was the beastie!

Warren
