Not exactly a Locost. A Stalker actually. But I've always loved this one:

The next photo should be of a Locost driven by a lady

kreb, get with the program. Nice video, write, but my grandmother could drive in the rain if she had a helmet on. And she was alive.

Extra points for driving behind a truck in an open-top car.

If you look carefully you'll see rain on the inside of the windshield even though the wipers are going.
That convinced me to build the convertible top it now has.
Gotta love it!

WOW! That didn't look like a lot of fun!!!

Reminds me of a time when I was livin' in Los Angeles. I came out of work about 7 am (Graveyard shift), and I had a wet 20 mile ride through morning rush hour traffic in L.A. to get home... on my MOTORCYCLE! Again... NOT a lot of fun!

Yes. I got caught in a Biblical downpour back when my 7 first got on the road. Rain on the front of the windshield, rain on the back of the windshield, rain on the front of my glasses, rain on the back of my glasses. It was easier to see leaning out the side and not using the windshield at all. I was completely drenched, with a small lake in the floors.

I now have a bikini top for it, which made a HECK of a difference.

Now it takes 10 more minutes before you are soaked. Yupper and you still need wipers on the inside surface of the windshield. The fun part is when a semi passes you with a wave of water coming off the wheels. Don't ask how I know!

Rain shot, Team Slotus style. Wipers? Top? Windshield? HA!

Rain shot, no wipers, no proper windshield, ski goggles, shot through the back window of a car build in Abingdon.

I wish I was in the B GT that day, but it was a fun cold shower.

Ohhhh... That's you getting wet and some smart guy taking the pictures from the nice, dry B-GT. Lovely. :ack:

Some other smart guy took the Slotus rain picture from inside a nice, dry Miata with the top securely up.

There is obviously something wrong with the two of us.
