Since I'm going to Portugal this week, I tought I'd pay "Lusomotors" a visit.
If nothing gets in the way I will check them out.
Anybody has any questions/inquires that I might ask them?

Dang! I love that GT body!

Shooting brake design not so much, but still better than most hard tops I've seen.

See if they sell the bodies separate.

All I saw was some CGI shadowy artists' conceptions--do they actually make anything? Was I clicking the wrong button?

Aparently they just put out a prototipe, here is a link
http://carscoop.blogspot.com/2008/07/lu ... pired.html
They also have a 5 axis CNC milling machine and are capable of doing a full scale model, at "reasonable prices.
Since Im going to be in the area, I fugured it couldn't hurt to have a look and a chat with them.
oh and also...great wines in the north of Portugal
oh and they also built this...

I don't like that car as much as the one on their website.

Since you're going to Portugal, lucky you, maybe you'll be going somewhere near this guy. He's done some interesting stuff.

That's a cute Mini! It looks like a BEC with midships mounting? I liked what I saw of how they did a bunch of stuff.

Those short wheel base cars are dangerous. I remember the fellow who was a national champion in the LeCar, was killed during a spin. He didn't actually hit anything, but the spin was so fast it rotated his brain... I feel weird typing that. It was sad... I see these on the sides of the highway every once in awhile, just in the woods in single car accidents...
