This is the best website to be on. We had the one meeting in February, but the turnout was pretty disappointing, and I don't think our host is actively building anymore. So before we can have another meeting, we need a new host.

We did have the midwest sevens gathering in Preston MN in June though, with a great turnout, but you'll probably have to wait 2 years for that to be back in MN.

The local Cobra guys do "garage tours" from time to time. I believe it's usually them just picking a date and having 2-3 people open up their garages for a bit on a weekend morning to show off their projects and latest progress. It does seem to help with motivation.

It might be nice to try and get something like that going with the local locost building crowd.

Thank you so much for the feedback. Where will next year's Midwest Seven's gathering take place? I'd like to believe that I could have a car built by then (I'm the eternal/unrealistic optimist!).

The next Gathering will be in Northeastern Oklahoma or Northwestern Arkansas or Southwestern Missouri or maybe all of the above. Xromad or Glen are your best bets for talking to in Minnesota,
Russ

Hmm... driving open-top cars through Tornado Alley in the early summer. Now that's what I like to call fun (long-time motorcyclist here)! 8)
