Regarding the picture, the cool thing is that ride height is adjustable, just requiring a screwdriver...

Not me. Way back when I was in high school, all the neat kids were inserting those square wedge screw things, looking for that gasser-look. If the car was lower than stock, the springs must be bad. At least that was the thought.

I was looking at the modified spring and wondered if the ride height actually changed at all. From what I could figger, reduce the spring height by 10-15% and increase the rate by 20% or so.

Interesting shade tree mod. Maybe it was a $1 fix for a broken spring?

"all the neat kids were... looking for that gasser-look" Oh it was the same in my HS, but I was never one of the "neat kids"! I was always into road racing, so I liked the "corner carver" look! Still do!!! :twisted:
