Is there anyone here who went through that much effort to get windshield wipers on their Locost?
Kinda…..
I studied the required sweep just like they did and changed the pin in the gear in the MGB wiper motor to get the "right" amount of sweep. I re-made the angled retainers for the 2 wiper boxes to fit the windshield angle. I changed the length of the wiper arms. I changed the length of the tubes from the wiper motor and between the wiper boxes, and custom made the holder of the wiper motor/gearbox. And I studied a lot to interface with my RX7 wiper controls to get a single wipe and intermittent action on an otherwise BOG STD MGB wiper motor, including changing the mentioned controls from ground to B+ as in the RX7. My implementation did not require relays.
However, I did not put in a rear wiper and rear washer
It was rewarding to get that all working. But eventually I just took off the wiper arms and stored them in the boot
