Anyone seen these?

https://vanderhallusa.com/

My dad saw them featured on Jay Leno's Garage and now is all hot and bothered over them. I went to the dealer near me and checked them out.

I've never been much of a three-wheel guy, but this thing is pretty cool. Didn't have time for a test-drive, but will definitely go back for one soon. Even though it's half the price of a Morgan, it's still a pricey toy...

If you go to the website, check out the Speedster--that one gets my vote!

These pics are of the standard Venice:

Interesting car/motorcycle. A lot I like and a lot I don't like. Looks a little tight with Leno and Mr Hall. I don't like the nose. And I hate the sound of an automatic shifting gears!!!!!! Put a manual tranny in it!!!!!!! I see there is a dealer about 5 miles from me. I may have to pay them a visit. Russ

I've seen one around town. I thought it might be Chuck Becks but I doubt he'd buy one. In Leno's video, it is shifting like crap. Doesn't make sense to me to have an extra powerful engine going to the light end with one wheel. A morgan or trihawk would be much better imho. Seems very well made though.

Russ, that would be registered as an Autocycle here in Illinois. And that automatic could sound worse. It could have been a CVT :ack:

It doesn't look that much different from a Morgan IMO.

My take on reading the drivetrain specs is that it a FWD, but I've been read wrong before

TRANSMISSION
Type: 6T40 (MH8)
Gears: 6
Driven Wheels: Front
Top Gear Ratio: .75
Clutch: Automatic torque converter
Final Gear Ratio: 3.87
ENGINE
Location: Front
Alignment: Transverse

This is a better video with some more "spirited" driving:

Not sure why I thought it was rwd. Pretty obvious after looking at the pics on the site.
One thing it shares with my metermaid trike is the ebay purple airfilter.
