So, MAYBE this time the mythical BOP&R to 907 head conversion will actually be COMPLETED and run? Seems I've seen dozens of false starts for this conversion. As difficult as it appears to be to carry out successfully you would think they would put together a simpler version to test first.

I looked into that as well. The cheapest, simplest, and most practical path would be to contact Allen Millyard and have him graft two 907s into a V8. Since Lotus originally designed it as a V8 it ought to be easy enough. Millyard is the lunatic who makes 5 cylinder Kawasaki two strokes and V12 four strokes, among other things... For that matter, one of his 2.3 liter V12s would be pretty nifty in a 7. That's two KZ1300 engines grafted together... |
