I dont know about the pride and joy bit but it was a lot of work. One of a pair of GT40 kit cars I have built, this one is my friends . Other than the basic chassis/body everything was hand made, I did all the mechanicals and my friend that works for a F1 team fabricated all the suspension and exhausts. I will post up my handywork on the transaxle soon. The second car is in the making and more for track use . Will get some proper pics of it.

thats like a hot chick in the bar, tantalising us with her long legs and high heels!

but is there any substance to her conversation or is she a complete air head!!

what happens if you take her home to meet mother, she had better know how to cook.

we have seen the pictures, now tell us all about it so we can decide if we want to take it home, or the track and thrash it within an inch (25.4mm) of its life.

Pictures, Hell, send us a video! Preferably of that blue beastie screamin' around a corner half-sideways with the engine howling, tires protesting and the driver all arms and elbows wrestling the barstard!!!!

Bob, the car looks great! The GT40 is one of the most beautiful cars ever built and yet was a brute, a beast, a force of nature...
Helluva car, in other words. Great job on re-creating one, looks perfect!
