I am extremely happy and proud, to be posting in this section. In with some great company. The car has been 'completed' for 6 months but I've been waaay too busy enjoying the car to get to this.
I'd like to give a big thanks to Keith Tanner for the inspiration, to Chet for creating this sight, and to Jack for, well, for all that Jack does. It has been, and continues to be a fantastic journey.

Wow, congrats! That's a very nice looking car. I think your daughter's positive attitude in your avatar gets some of the credit - she looks like an enthusiastic fan.

Chris, It is about time that you post that beautiful car of yours in the completed cars thread. Looks great without the cow $hit splashed all over it. Hope to see you again at next year's Gathering.

Well WOOHOO! and congrats. A splenid example of the breed, and one i will link to when folks ask if real people really build these.

Yep, you're now in Phase II of the Locost experience. It's truly a pleasure to build a Locost (it was for me and I'm sure my next one will be too) and an entirely different pleasure to own and operate a high performance exotic sports car that you built with your own hands. Enjoy, enjoy, and thanks for the kind words (I'm glad I could be a part of it).

PS--the floating Bat Signal looks pretty cool.

As a huge DC Comics fan im loving the batman and your daughters jacket.

Its clean and I like how the roll bar is orange. Good choice in color combo.

How many miles have you but on it?

Is it just me or does the muffler look like its on backwards? Bike muffler?

Holy Sports Car, Batman!!! Car looks great, Chris! I really like the action shots of it on course. Cornering flat, looking good!!! Nicely done overall, really well executed example of a Se7en! Good job!

And tell "Little Bat Girl" that I'm proud of her for helping you get it done!

Regards-
JD

Beautiful car. Now be sure to make some beautiful memories with it for The Bat Girl to cherish.

I lurk here thinking about building a Locost. I am always thinking about building some sort of car.

Want to bond with your kid or grand kid? Build something with them like a car. My son and I built a 32 Ford coupe started when he was 13. I saw your little girl in the pics and I immediately thought about my life experiences. It is the best memory I have and I think it will stay with him throughout life.

I've just come back to the forum from a while away and am brousing. Came across your stunning car build!
But one thing I noticed that has put an even bigger smile on my face - your daughter wearing my blipshift t-shirt design!!
Thank you for the purchase!
