Well here we go, a bunch of pictures from today. There were more around the other side of the hall, but I didn't get a wide shot of all of them. People figured this was the best turnout yet, probably over 50 cars, so it's starting to get more popular. That's a good thing in my book. I think one of my favourite things at car shows like this is the parents that bring their kids. Any time there's a kid interested in my car and the parents are making sure they don't touch it, I ask if they want to sit in the driver's seat for a picture. That seems to make most kid's day, and hopefully gets more people into cars.

It was a really cool, laid back show and shine. No entry fee, pull in with a cool car and park, and they give the driver of every car a ticket for a free breakfast. No awards, no schedule other than try to show up between 9:30 and 10 am, but there were cars coming and going through the day. Ran into one of my dad's friends that wasn't interested in breakfast, so we only had to pay for the kids to eat. He had his Mustang Bullitt there, I didn't realized they made them in black too, but he has one. Apparently his daughter has never shot a handgun, so he said if I let her shoot some of mine, he'll let me drive it. And yes, he and my dad go way back, so he knows what he's getting into.

I have a terrible memory, and don't remember what year this Packard is, but it was a seriously cool car. The couple that own it did all the restoration work, including painting it in their laneway. He had his wife doing body and paint work he said. All stock except LED tail lights and silicone brake fluid. Even still has the 6 volt electrical system. I'd have to say that was the coolest car there today, and it was really neat talking to the owner, even if it was just briefly while they were trying to leave.

A pretty nice 1964 Thunderbird, looked pretty stock.

I didn't really get a chance to look at this Galaxie, just snapped a quick picture as he was backing out. My wife really liked this one and the Thunderbird above, so did I.

The guy that owns this Challenger has had it since new. He had a copy of the original sales invoice in his binder.

And of course no car show is complete without a General Lee lookalike.

And in no particular order, a bunch of pictures of cars that I didn't really get any details on, but they're cool cars and I took pictures of them anyway.

We're only allowed 12 pics per post, so I'll add the rest to my previous and next posts.
I had a fun day and got to meet a few interesting new people, and caught up with some old friends too.
