amt machine shop is my company 3 is for three wheels so AMT 3 is what i called it. I didnt use the mikunis as they were to difficult to get set up correct with the mods to the engine, i needed more tunning room and the webber was the best choice as parts are plenty and easy to get. the rear wheel is a normal car wheel 15 inch diameter by 8 inches wide i machined the hub out of the motorbike wheel and machined the car wheel so i could bolt the two together. the rear also uses the motorbike brake and a mechanical brake for the emergency brake. No cup holders. the frame is constructed for 1.75 DOM with a .095 wall , i have done alot of rally car rollcages and this is the material used for that so it is more than adequte for my project.
As far as handling goes it is amazing. i can take corners so fast and it responds so precise. It is truly a gokart for the street.
this is the drive side. there are 8 drive pins and 8 bolts holding the hub in place.
