Why is the board gay pink?
I want to puke.
As has been for at least half a decade, the background for individual posts alternates between blueish gray and pinkish grey--I sampled them when I signed up so I could have my avatar background alternate between standing out and disappearing (I'll demonstrate that in my next post). The bluer of the two (using Photoshop's color sample eyedropper) is R,G,B=220,225,229, which is a small but noticeable drift into the blue. The pinker of the two is R,G,B=236,236,236 which is a completely neutral grey. So the answer is, it's not pink, it's a colorless, neutral grey, misinterpreted by unconscious comparison to a slightly non-neutral blue-tinted grey, which I hereby dub "homophobia blue". I sampled the example you posted from your screen shot, and it's R,G,B=236,236,236 too.
Take a sample of what you're seeing as "gay pink" and fill a full page photoshop document with that color. If it still looks like gay pink to you, adjust your monitor to a more heterosexual color, as dictated by your tastes. But it's not a LocostUSA problem, there's no pink on the page, regardless of gender orientation; it's a result of interpreting blue as normal, and thus whatever isn't sufficiently blue gets interpreted as pink.
