I do not know whether this is generated by my actions or a problem with the server, But I have been getting the following message periodically:
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) [2002]
An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.
Most of the time refreshing ie8 clears the problem, but sometimes it will persist for a while
This is the first time I remembered to capture the error message. I'm using XP and ie8. I do not seem to have the problem with Firefox, but it's nav capabilities on this site act strange. The Back function does not clear the 'unread flag' from the main index page.
Any help would be appreciated
