Hi guys...I'm new here and was wondering how long it takes for the posts to become instant and not needed to be pre-read or OK'd by a moderator? Or....are they always OK'd?? Just wondering...it took a while for my first post to be cleared which got me to thinking ....

I am thinking seriously of starting a Locost 7 build and would like some information on what donors etc are better than others..etc etc....

Thanks

Willys

Hi, Willys.

Posts from new members must be moderated to keep a pile of spam off the board. Some days nearly half of all posts are spam. Through the heroic efforts of Team Mod, you'll never see any of that crap.

Once you have had two posts approved, all your future posts will appear instantly with no moderation. Looks like this was your second post, so you can consider yourself one of the brethren, Willys! ;-)

Do I need to PM anyone to trigger getting a post reviewed or does it happen automatically?

It happens automatically. And by automatically I mean it will get approved soon as a moderator logs on and sees posts waiting for approval and verifies it's not spam. You can send a PM to one of the other mods if it's something time sensitive and you see that they are online, just don't send one to me. :P  J/K, I'm always happy to help.

Most of Team Mod are a bunch of frickin' junkies who need a LocostUSA fix several times a day to get by. Don't be surprised if you post at 3 AM and it gets approved ten minutes later. Then again, they do occasionally work on their cars or attend to other business (employment, marriage, parenthood...) so don't sweat it if 6 hours goes by. It will get reviewed and approved in short order.

Yeah, When "Team Mod" is not busy in the LocostUSA corperate buildings or testing equipment at our test track.

I saw a "user" post the name "Barrack Obama" and I deleted him and banned by name. If it was him he should fix the economy not post here, if not, yeah it was probably spam! So be careful of the name you choose.....

Yeah I was waiting for your first spam post and I would have deleted you.....

What you don't see behind the scenes is that we have 658 users that never posted a thing all are potential spam bots.

Carving spam? I'm glad they finally found a use for it. That's just about all it's good for.
