Yup, luck wins, hands down.
Congratulations, it is an good feeling when you are past the paperwork hassles.
Also, very few women would turn down a box of Purdy's.

...now that the car is on the road, i'm able to take care of a dozen little things that I was putting off while waiting for licensing.
Had a complete alignment today, and the mechanic was amazed that it was able to 'steer'....he reset everything (and mentioned that if anything could be aligned backwards, this was it).
The difference was certainly noticeable on the drive home.
Am heading off in the morning to pick up a new (?) 5 speed 12A transmission...the 4 speed that is in it sounds a lot like a can full of ball bearings...hoping it will fit...the tunnel is certainly 'slim'....

Have started a little website on the Centaur...

apparently, chocolate invokes the same chemicals in the female brain as sex, so if you want some, get the good ones

...new wheels and tires came last night.... have to do some fiddling with the studs as they are too long....the other wheels had 3/8" spacers....these have not quite as much offset (+30) so should fit without)....

...they are 15X7 ROTA RB WHEELS....with Good Year Assurance Triple Tread tires.... was afraid the 15" would make the spokes look spindly, but am very happy with the appearance....
