Painted the inner grill area of the nose cone black and mounted the grill.

Looks sweet  That emblem really accents the front of the car, love it.

Pretty nerve racking day today. Had the car inspected by the state patrol and I'm now legal!

Andrew,
Your car looks great. It should be a hoot to drive, or ride in. Next time the Seattle area Locosters get together please bring your car. I'm sure the rain will stop someday.

Thanks everyone. Still have tiny things I’d like to eventually do but I’m in no rush to get back to working on it. Can’t wait until the weather turns and I can start enjoying it.

That sounds great. I saw a post a while back about some guys talking about a Seattle meet but nothing concrete came of it. Hopefully something gets setup and I can come out and meet you fine people.

The USA Sevens was throwing such thoughts around but I haven't heard anything lately. We can stir up a few guys for a burger and a beer which is always fun. Warm, dry day and I'll bring my Locost.

Brought the car in to get the carburetor tuned because carburetors are before my time and I have no idea what I am doing with them. I was happy with the before and after results.

Is the top line horsepower? The declining line? If so I believe your carb is too small.

Top lines torque.

Really? That much more torque than hp? That's odd for a gas engine.

Looking at the

RunFile_012.drf
RunFile_001.drf

notation on the print out, if 001 was your first run and 012 was your last, I'd say you got your moneys worth with a 96 HP gain for run 012 versus 001. Is that what it means?

Carburetors were before his time, he says. Whipper-snapper.
