Yes they can. Also if you have the stock wire harness which I know you do they have a plug and play model.

Started carving up the dash panel. I ordered new switches with green lighted stems. Should be cool. Started making a switch plate for those.

Gauges look good. I've pretty much resigned myself that I'm going with Speedhut as well, just wish they didn't cost so much or our dollar was better. They'll end up being the second most expensive part on the car, more than the donar car. But, I'll probably be looking at them the most. Whats the saying, the bitterness of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of a low price is forgotten.

Ha. Haven't heard that one yet but it works. They are a little cheaper than others out their, like autometer. Speedhut has a huge array of options though. I really liked that. These I happened to go online at the July 4th and they had a sale. The package was $100 off so I jumped on it. Wait for a sale. About being a big ticket on the car.... yes totally agree. This package was $640 with sensors and shipping.

I helped a buddy of mine earlier this summer get his MG fired up again. Clean carbs and new fuel pump. I was giving him a hard time about not driving it so he said drive it. Well ok. I took it for this weekend and put about 200 miles on it for him. What fun. It needs some attention but it fires up and doesn't miss a beat. Has electric overdrive, wow is that nice. Gets up on the highway 72mph and just humms along. Needless to say not much got done on the 7 this weekend. I did get the mock up switches changed out and bonded some hardboard to the aluminum dash panel for som more rigidity.

Man, that MGB is in good shape. If I had room for it, I'd love to have another B to drive around.

Cheers,

He says its for sale. IDK I think if he puts a little money into it he'd keep it. It does need some attention. It is the perfect car to restore though if someone wanted a project.

With the vinyl I ordered. Guess what MORE wiring. :BH: I've come to conclusion that a guy needs a real plan for wiring. I don't have it when it comes to this. The layout for a nice looking wire install is a real gift, I wish I had it. I like the lay out. I have to get that A/F gauge on order. Now i have the O2 controller and my last couple sensors coming I should get this done soon and get onto fuel and cooling systems.

Hey Steve,

If you ever get another chance check out Cliff Flath's wiring. Super sanitary. Another Midwest Locost Gathering perhaps?

Cheers,

Night shot with roadster Dome lights. The green blob are the green tipped toggle switches I bought. Their cool also too bright. The problem each one has a different power supply so I think hooking to a dimmer won't work unless someone has ideas.

Pretty cool. Kinda UFO-like. I like the "7" graphics on the dials.

Cheers,

Coolant lines are done. I measured the height of the top return line because it looks like the head outlet is higher than the radiator. There the same. Weird. So we'll see when I fill it if it fills properly. I think it may need a surge tank otherwise. Made 3 trips to Oreillys hunting the back room for hoses that would work. The bottom line looks like it was made for the car. The top is 51" long. I cut apart 2 different hoses to make it work and a coupling.

We're going to try this out see how it works. Now for piping primaries. I do have a flex for just ahead of muffler.
