It looks very good on the road. Congratulations!

I didn't see anything fall off, or catch fire, so it looks like a 100% success to me.

Regards,

Thank you guys, your optimism gives me confidence!
I'll tell you what happened to me that day. First, I broke the rear wing when transporting on a cart. We fixed the line unsuccessfully. Secondly, right on the site, the fuel pump died. As it turned out, there was a lot of aluminum chips. It was not taken away by the welder of the tank ((Well, I also did not check and did not wash the stubby.) Third, during the aggressive driving, the engine spit out all the oil. The oil filter turned out to be a fake.
Now I eliminate all the shortcomings.
P.S. Before the trip to the site, I worked closely all week for a car. And most likely because of the accumulated fatigue, I took everything to heart.

The image above didn't post for some reason. At least, I couldn't see it.

Cheers,

Oooooh. Bad juju. We have problems with fake parts here, too. It's a worldwide problem, and few authorities seem very interested in doing much about it. I haven't seen fake oil filters yet, but it's only a matter of time...

Three things you can do in the future: on most designs, you can look in and see if the paper filter element is sitting straight. If it's not, you don't want it, even if it's real.

Next, the threads should be properly formed, and there shouldn't be strips of metal hanging loose or pushed inside the filter. You shouldn't see machining swarf inside the filter. Again, if it's otherwise, you don't want it.

The last is, unless you know that a particular application is otherwise, the filter rings are square in cross-section and the rubber is very hard, usually with tiny grooves (like lathe marks) on the mating surface.

Now, just to complicate things... some very reputable brands sell filters that aren't quite right for the application. Usually this is a filter that is supposed to have a flapper or valve to prevent oil from draining back into the engine when it's not running. They leave out the valve to save money, but it means your engine has no oil until the pump fills the filter next time you start.

The other is, there are various screw threads that a filter might use - inch machine thread, inch straight pipe thread, British straight pipe thread, or any of several metric threads, there being no real standards for metric threads. And wierd-bastard hybrids, like metric outside diameter with inch thread pitch. So you might find a brand of filter that's difficult to screw on, or very loose. Most manufacturers will try to make the same filter fit as many different applications as possible, and may use some hybrid thread.

And finally, even buying a "factory" filter from the dealer, you might wind up with something different from what the manufacturer intended, because sometimes the parts the dealership sells are sourced from different places than the factory got them...

Thank you, I took your advice and bought a filter with a square-shaped rubber sealer from the dealer. Thank God the machine was wound up and no extra knocking is audible.

While we have a summer decided to transport the car to your garage, for several reasons. The first is that next to the house, the second that would not pay rent, the third is closer to the roads.

This week I tried to solve the problem of Chinese coilovers. They had two main problems. First, they are very hard on the rebound, and the second is not a correctly designed reverse piston. After the autopsy, it turned out that the main piston has large holes for the compression stroke and very small ones for the rebound, and moreover these openings are covered by four valves. I left only one. The return piston simply jams and the shock absorber ceases to work. Temporarily collected as is, just smeared the back piston. In the future, I will grind new ones (turner while on vacation).

And I was weighing the car on the floor scales. Let it be rude but I know the weight (~520kg).

I also bought racing tires !!

Hey, Lonnie. On the road, I did not go any more. All this time I tried to put the car on the register. Unfortunately, so far without result. You understand that the police will simply take the car without documents. In general, I just rested, went to the taiga and to Baikal.

And, then drive it around themselves with fake documents they create. Who is going to stop them, right?

Good day to all. I have not written for a long time. A little started the project. On the advice of a man who will program my motor. I bought new injectors for 440 cubes. And before that, they stood on 200 cubes. He showed me on the graph that they would not be enough above 6,000 rpm. Now I had to rebuild the engine.
In general, I was crazy. I called the tow truck and drove out of town.
There we managed to adjust the engine only to 6000 rpm, and then the motor does not gain momentum: (The mixture is too rich.) At that moment, the laptop dies at the tuner :( So I did not drive too much, but that was enough for me. 80 km / h there's nothing to breathe, you need to buy a good helmet and make a windshield !!!
And I'm very sad, summer flew, and I only skied 2 times. I very much want more.

Do you have any usable time left in your Fall season? You haven't received snow yet have you?

In any case, it will be too bad if you have to wait until Spring before you can start again.

Regards,

Lonnie

thank Lonnie for his support.
Judging by the weather forecast, the weather will finally be consumed in a week. Now I decided to drive the car to the dynamometer stand. And in our "village" they want to organize drag race competitions. I want to go at least there)) But as you say you want to make a mess of God tell him about your plans)))))))

So at last I went to the dynamometer stand. I almost did not participate in the setup. Only stood nearby. The operator of the stand pressed on gasolka, and the engineer of the regulation rules fuel cards. First I so understood a large dip on the swings from 5 to 7, and then they all corrected and brought the power to 120 hp. In general, I think this is also a result. Now the schedule should be smooth and smooth on the road. photo and video below.
