Very clever use for 3D printing. There is a saying, "necessity is the mother of invention". Sort of fits your situation.

With a fiberglass lining on the underside for strength the plastic should be easy to fill and put a nice finish on. Like some others, I'll be interested in seeing the parts finished.

If I understand you correctly, you have some concerns about making the bonnet. It's not difficult and it doesn't require a frame. I don't know what aluminum alloys you have available but I used 5052 which is called "half hard". It forms easily and doesn't require annealing. It can be formed by hand by pushing it down over something like a 100 mm piece of pipe. I bent the bottom edges into a "U". It provides all the strength needed.

Welcome. At us on Baikal it is very beautiful.

I am also curious about the 3D printing, what is the maximum size pieces you can make at a time? What brand and model is your 3D printer please?

The maximum size of the print is a cube 190x190x190mm. As for the brand, is xyz printing.

Thanks a lot for Ron's advice, cool hood. I found an analogue in our country (brand AMG2.5). I'll definitely try! Just wanted to clarify and how thick is your hood?

Thanks! It's only 3.5 hour flight apparently, I'm in Sichuan China - I am Australian though.

Next step to research Visas!

It's .050". Easy to form but firm enough that it doesn't vibrate or loose its shape when lifting it off from one side.

And that the Australians need a visa?
I remember how well sat in a bar in Vietnam, I sat with an Australian)))
Last weekend we were sitting in the garage frying meat on the grill, drinking moonshine, etc. Guests came with children. The girl immediately climbed into the car)))

I can go all over Europe, the UK and many other countries without a visa, or just an eTA, but will need a Visa for Russia. .. and someone to invite me to visit!

I have a question. I'm looking for taillights, beautiful at an affordable price. What we have is the square headlights from the tractor for $ 3. I do not like them.

I know, I get it all the time in being China.

Anyway, it's 1am in the morning, I had better go and unlock the factory gates so the children workers can go home from the shoe factory.

Good day to all. By the way, my personal bear sends you greetings))))
And so continue. What did I do during this time. This is to attach all the aluminum panels that are sliced. There are only two left this hood and a cover over the top rear traction. While I'm in creative search)). And I also blew the braking system. My God, how did she piss. The current managed to pull all the connections, and also I failed. I bought a manual brake button on aliexpress and it was not working (((But I have a fully working pedal knot, the clutch, the brake, the gas is working! I want to note that the brake pedal goes far, and the brake pedal is very small, the pedal the gas stroke is about 70mm average, I'm now doing the reverse installation of the wiring, and again in the creative search, a lot of extra long wires, and I also work on all the fastening of the plastic parts.
I apologize for the lack of photos. Because we in Russia are blocked by various sites and in their number got and the one on which I uploaded all the photos and they are all merged and I'm still thinking where to upload. Like this.

Do they block IP addresses from Russia? Is that what you mean?

Cheers,

Good day to all. In general, I almost laid all the wiring under the panel and brought it into the engine compartment. As always, there are little things left, but they take up most of the time. And the other day I received a parcel with a disk differential lock. Now I install it.
