This is a dumb question, but did you roll it back and forth a few times before measuring the suspension? And did you add any weight to make up for the missing components not yet installed on the car? |

Looking really good! I took a little time to go back and look at some other structures you've made like the bonnet, etc., too. I don't know what your skill level was when you started, but you're sure turning out some really nice, professional-level stuff now. Cheers, . . . . and Merry Christmas too Lonnie |

I'd go with 200x12 front and 225x12 rear since those are the closest rates to drop it about an inch on both ends and keep it on the seat in droop. |

Rear fenders trimmed and lights installed. Front splitter is still in-work but at least I've decided on the shape. A little fleece blanket, a hot glue gun, polyester resin, and some string and I got the shape established. I applied a few layers of glass and epoxy to stiffen it up so now I have to smooth it out and then apply a some kevlar and carbon to finish it off. Front fender #1 demolded. Fits 205/50/15......so I'm about 9" wide with a 39" wrap. Current weight is 1.2lbs untrimmed. I used the following steel fender http://www.nueratrailerparts.com/p-6195-single-axle-fender-double-radius-9-x-24-x-12.aspx and then welded in the cross bracing so that I can incorporate my fender stays into the fender. Here is my one ply fiberglass proof of concept. Attachment: protofender-in.jpg Attachment: protofender-out.jpg Here is the tool and finished product. Hopefully a quick block sand and I'll be ready for the topcoat. I'm afraid I have some pin holes in the bonnet that I'm going to have to fill and then possible re-prime. Attachment: Primered.jpg

Thanksgiving holiday progress. Looks a little strange on the dollies being all jacked up in the air but you get the point. Pleas ignore the cropped out section of pics. Attachment: MidFinalAssyFront.jpg Attachment: MidFinalAssyRear.jpg
